Class Guidelines
Absences
After 2 consecutive absences (without notification to the gym office) the child will be withdrawn from class.
Please notify the gym as soon as possible if your child is injured outside the gym or is diagnosed with any communicable diseases (chicken pox, measles, mumps, strep throat, conjunctivitis, pink eye, pneumonia, etc.) and will be missing consecutive classes.
Medical releases are required before returning to class for any child that has been seen by a doctor or in medical care for any injury or illness that resulted in an extended absence from class. No child is allowed to participate until the gym receives this release.
Missed Classes
There are no refunds or credits given for missed classes. Students are entitled to 1 make-up class per month regardless of how many classes have been missed.
Make-up classes are held the first Friday of every month from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM. If you want to sign up for a make-up class, please call the gym office after a missed class and we will give you a confirmation number. The deadline for registering is the Wednesday prior to the scheduled Friday make up class. Outstanding fees or tuition payments will cause your child to be ineligible for the make-up class. If your child is unable to attend the make-up class that he or she is signed up for, please notify the gym prior to the class.
Team-Up members may make up 1 class missed per month. Please inquire in the office to schedule an appropriate time.
Withdrawal from class
Written notification to the office, not the instructor, is required two weeks in prior to withdrawing a student from a class. Payment is required until the final day of withdrawal.
Gym Closings
If the gym closes for any reason, it will be announced on TV stations WGRZ 2, WIVB 4 and WKBW 7. It will also be announced on WBEN 930 AM radio. If you are unsure whether or not the gym is or will be closed, please call our office for information. If you are directed to our website, the closing will also be noted on our home page. In addition, a personal e-mail will be sent to all clients who have signed up to recieve our newsletters. Please note that we are unable to offer make-up classes for gym closings as weather and related circumstances are beyond our control. Thank You for your understanding.
